Mushfiqur Rahim and Imrul to miss 2nd test match

Injury breaks the dream of Mushfiqur Rahim and Imrul Kayes. Hamstring injury of Imrul Kayes was too serious to play in the 1st test match, but he played that game to rescue the team. Unfortunately, after fighting a lot, his team lost the Test match. New Zealand cricket team showed the last day magic in the first test match. Mushfiqur Rahim was suffering from his injury from the very beginning of the ODI series.

He was absent in few matches for his finger injury. But this time he is going to take rest in the 2nd test match because of his last injury. Tim Southee’s bouncer hit on his head. That ball was so much brutal. That injury could have been serious. He laid down on the crease after being affected by that bouncer. He was taken to the hospital for better treatment. Fortunately, Mushfiqur Rahim escapes from that injury.

This kind, of injury takes 2 or 3 weeks to recover. But Mushfiqur’s problem was not that serious. Management makes this important decision to give Mushfiqur Rahim a little break. Imrul Kayes and  Mushfiqur’s absence be a plus point for Black Caps, and at the same time, it is a huge minus point for Bangladesh team. All senior players will have to play a significant role in the 2nd test against New Zealand.

In the 1st test match Tigers could get a guaranteed victory against Black Caps, but unfortunately, Bangladesh gave away the game. New Zealand won the match by creating a reliable test record. They broke a record of 122 years. Only time will say when test cricket fans will see any game like this.

Bangladesh cricket team reached Christchurch today. They will play their last match of this tour in there. This tour started in this venue, and it is also ending in the same place. Bangladesh cricket team will be looking for their first success in 2017 in the last test match.
