England scored 477 runs in their first innings

Indian bowlers got some trouble to get all wickets of England. From the very beginning of the first day, England’s players were looking so much confident to come back strongly in this last test match of the series. The first day English batsmen were showing an extraordinary confidence after losing their two wickets early.

The have already lost the test match series, but still, they are trying to get something from this series, that is impressive.In the first day, England lost both of their openers within only 21 runs. After that, Joe Root came in the crease to build up a partnership. Joe Root and Moeen Ali played a great role and stayed on the ground for a long time. Joe Root was caught behind when he was just 12 runs behind from getting a century.

Ravindra Jadeja took his wicket. His 88 runs from 144 balls helped England to go ahead confidently. Though Joe Root missed his Century, Moeen Ali didn’t miss that chance. He got a century and added 146 runs on the scoreboard. To get 146 runs Moeen Ali played 262 balls. In his magnificent innings he sent the ball out of the ground thirteen times and he a hit the ball over the boundary for only single time.

Umesh Yadav took Moeen Ali’s wicket. After Moeen Ali’s departure, lower middle order batsmen showed an incredible responsibility to make the scoreboard stable. The wicket-keeper batsman Johny Bairstow and Ben Stokes tried a bit to make some runs quickly, but Stokes got out at only six runs. Bairstow played an innings of 49 runs from 90 balls. From the starting of the second day, India bowlers were trying to pick up all wickets, but Liam Dawson and Adil Rashid were the leading batsmen to stay on the crease for a long time.

Both of them created a lot of pressure to Indian bowlers. They played total 50 overs and took the day out of control from India. Finally, Umesh Yadav got the wicket of Adil Rashid, but Liam Dawson remained not after scoring 66 runs from 148 balls. Rashid added 60 valuable runs and played 155 balls. Indian bowlers were able to take all wickets of England.

They scored 477 runs after playing two days. Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets, Ishant Sharma And Umesh Yadav was able to get two wickets each. India got only 20 overs to play on the 2nd day of the 5th test match. Lokesh Rahul scored 30, and Parthiv Patel scored 29 runs. They will have to be so much responsible if they want to take the lead in their 1st innings. Otherwise, it will be so much tough for them to win this test match.
