Shakib and Tamim are chosen by Wilkins for World Eleven

Recently Cricbuzz published a video of Alan Wilkins, where he was asked to select eleven players to play against Indian national cricket team in India. He got a lot of player’s names, and from those names, best eleven players were selected by him. He took two great names of Bangladesh cricket, and they are, Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan. He wants Tamim Iqbal to open the match with Pakistani player and captain Azhar Ali.

He thought that in Indian pitch both of them could open the match with a great passion because they also belong from this kind of subcontinent pitch. Tamim Iqbal and Azhar Ali were his main choice to open the match. As middle order batsmen, he selected Younus Khan and Steven Smith to play in the middle position. At this moment India is on top of the ranking, so he thought a lot of things about this matter.

As an allrounder, he picked the name of Shakib Al Hasan, Ben Stokes, and Moeen Ali. Shakib is the only players who stayed top of the table of the allrounder player’s rankings. He was the main choice for this cricket specialist. Alan Wilkins knows Shakib very well. He made English batsmen silly and grabbed their wickets many times during the last test match against Bangladesh.

He destroyed full batting line up of England within just one session of that last test match. On that game, Bangladesh defeated England very easily and won the match after showing a great performance. From the big list of spin bowlers Wilkins picked up the name of Sri Lankan great bowler Rangana Herath, and he also took the name of Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah. Both of them were looking perfect to Wilkins to play against India on their soil.

He was asked to select eleven players, so there must be some fast bowler. Yes here they are, Alan Wilkins chose Stuart Broad and Kagiso Rabada. But he didn’t pick the young pace sensation and the icon pace bowler of Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman. Though it his personal opinion, but Mustafizur could have been a better option than Kagiso Rabada. This list is only a list because this eleven is only a personal opinion of England cricket specialist to play as a World Eleven team against India.
