The first day of first test match ends with heavy wind

The wind was too heavy to continue the match. Match officials called off the game because of heavy wind. Bangladeshi Batsmen were getting a lot of trouble to continue the match. Cricket fans got some new experience today while watching the game on one side camera. Because of heavy wind, the 2nd cameraman was stopped recording from another side of the top of the roof. Match officials didn’t want to take any risk.

Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal and other batsmen stopped bowlers for several times from bowling. It was so much tough to hit a ball against the heavy wind. Today all batsmen of Bangladesh tried to play with full of passion, and that was the main thing of their success. Tamim started the match with Imrul Kayes.

The opening of the game was not that good today. Imrul Kayes’s wicket was taken early by Tim Southee. The first wicket was disappointing Bangladesh for a little while. But as an opener, Tamim played today as he was being expected. He played aggressive innings and scored 56 runs from 50 balls. Tamim sent the ball outside of boundary for 11 times. He played just like an ODI match.

But Trent Boult didn’t let him play like that. Tamim Iqbal got out by Boult. After Imrul’s wicket, Mominul Haque came to recover the loss. And he was successful. As a test specialist, Mominul Haque showed his power. With Tamim Iqbal, he was going pretty well. After Tamim’s wicket, he didn’t lose his rhythm.

Mominul kept his game on with Mahmudullah Riyad also. Just before ending the day Mahmudullah was got out by Wagner. Then the best all rounder of the world Shakib Al Hasan and Mominul Haque stayed on the field until the match was called off. Bangladesh will be staying in a good position on the 2nd day of the first test match after scoring 154/4.
